Pete was a teacher for 18 years before buying a hotel on Exmoor in 2003. Over the next few years, he doubled the turnover and the value of the business. From 2008-2011, the financial crash impacted the business but it survived. Or so Pete thought. In December 2011, the bank repossessed the hotel leaving him with £2500 in the bank. With a mortgage to pay and 4 kids to feed, he wasn’t proud and started cleaning carpets.
He did this for 3 years, until an incident in February 2015 changed everything. He decided it was time to get off the hamster wheel and take back control of his life. He borrowed the money to work closely with a property mentor, one who taught him how to control and own property even though he had next to no cash himself.
Over the next few years, he built up a £4m portfolio which continues to grow today. However, deep down, his vocation as a teacher has come to the fore and he now shows others how to replicate his success.
His complimentary one day event, the Property Investors Launchpad, explains in detail the strategies he used to gain financial freedom enabling others to achieve the same.
